The purpose of the Privacy Policy, including the notice on personal data protection (hereinafter: the “Notice”), is to inform you about which of your personal data we collect and for what purposes, what we do with them, how we ensure their security, and what rights you have that you can exercise in relation to the processing of personal data. We take the protection of your personal data extremely seriously and responsibly. We fully comply with our obligations regarding lawful, fair, and transparent processing of personal data. We advise you to familiarize yourself in detail with the content of this Notice.

To ensure that this Notice complies with regulations in the field of personal data protection, Slow Motion reserves the right to amend or supplement it. We will notify you of any changes in a timely manner in the most appropriate way, e.g. via email or by publishing a notice on the website.

Which personal data do we process?

a.) Basic contact data (name, surname, phone number, email address, address, city, town, street, country);
b.) Data on the use of our websites (clicks on links, time spent) and data regarding responses to our email messages (whether the message was opened, which links you clicked);
d.) Server data (e.g. date and time of visits, visited subpages, information you viewed or searched for, etc.).
e.) Device data (information about the computer or mobile device used to access the website, including the operating system, model, web browser, etc.).
f.) Data on the use of our website.
g.) Aggregated data for advertising marketing purposes, such as viewed and purchased products and other activities related to the purchasing process.

Legal bases for processing personal data

We collect your personal data only when it is strictly necessary or when you have given your consent. We will not process your personal data if the purpose or legal basis for their processing is not properly justified under applicable personal data protection regulations (General Data Protection Regulation – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (NN 42/18), and the Electronic Communications Act (NN 76/22)).

Slow Motion will process your personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:

By visiting our website, you have accepted and agreed to this Notice and have entered into an agreement with Slow Motion, which is used as the legal basis for the processing of your personal data. Data are encrypted and transmitted to the server in a secure form. Such a system prevents anyone from intercepting your personal data.

Slow Motion also processes your personal data based on statutory legal grounds:

Based on national legislation, including the Act on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (NN 108/17, 39/19, 151/22), the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (NN 42/18), the Copyright and Related Rights Act (NN 111/21), etc., as well as on the basis of other international agreements and EU regulations that oblige Slow Motion in certain cases to provide individuals’ personal data to state authorities and other controllers in order to fulfill their or our legal obligations or competences.

Slow Motion may process personal data based on legitimate interest, for example:

a.) for statistical purposes and for collecting demographic data and information about visitors’ interests,
b.) for identifying problems with the server and website,
c.) for conducting business analyses,
d.) for further development of services and offers,
e.) for improving or adapting services to individuals,
f.) for determining the effectiveness of promotional activities and advertising,
g.) based on other legitimate interests.

In certain cases, Slow Motion may process your personal data based on your personal consent for the purpose of carrying out marketing activities, such as sending current news and general information about offers, new features, benefits, events or prize draws, as well as informing you about service offers tailored to your personal interests based on profiling used by Slow Motion for these purposes. Personal consent is entirely voluntary and is not a condition for concluding a contract. In such cases, processing takes place within the scope of the purpose stated in the consent and the agreed methods of communication, until the consent is withdrawn.

Purposes of processing personal data

Your personal data may be used for one or more of the following purposes:

a.) communicating with you regarding the provision of our services and responding to your inquiries;
b.) marketing communication (sending emails and SMS messages);
c.) enforcing any legal claims and resolving disputes;
d.) advertising marketing purposes on external websites.

How long do we retain your personal data and what happens to them afterwards?

The retention period for personal data depends on the basis and purpose of processing each category of personal data. Personal data are stored only for as long as prescribed or permitted and as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or further processed.

After the purpose has been fulfilled, we will retain only those personal data that we are required to keep by law or that we may need for evidentiary or defense purposes if there is a possibility of legal claims. Other data will be deleted, destroyed, blocked, or anonymized unless the law provides otherwise for certain types of personal data.

Your personal data that we process for sending offers and informing you about updates will be stored until you withdraw your consent, or in any case for a maximum of five years from the time the consent was given. After this period, we will ask you again for your consent.

Data on issued invoices are stored for 10 years from the date of issuance, in accordance with the tax regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

After the retention period expires, personal data are effectively deleted or anonymized, meaning they are processed in such a way that they can no longer be associated with you or attributed to you in any way.

Voluntary provision of data and consequences of not providing them

Providing personal data is voluntary. You are not obliged to provide personal data to us; however, if you do not provide them, you will not be able to conclude a contract with us (since we need them to deliver the order). We will indicate which data are such that failure to provide them results in the stated consequences whenever we collect personal data from you.

Who has access to the personal data you have provided? Will we disclose your personal data to third parties or transfer them outside the EU?

We take your privacy very seriously. Your personal data are a business secret of Slow Motion. Employees of Slow Motion process your personal data in accordance with their authorizations and our internal policies. Contractual processors are obliged to protect confidential data and respect the rights of individuals in the same way as employees of Slow Motion.

We do not provide your personal data to third parties nor allow them access, except to those with whom we have concluded a written agreement under which they perform certain tasks related to data processing and are obliged to comply with legislation regarding the processing and protection of personal data – the so-called contractual processors. Contractual processors to whom we may provide personal data include, for example:

a.) marketing service providers;
b.) providers of email sending services;
c.) providers of software solutions, etc.

Contractual processors may process personal data only within the scope of our instructions and may not process personal data for their own purposes. They are obliged, together with their employees, to protect the confidentiality of your personal data.

What are your rights regarding the processing of personal data?

You may at any time request access to your personal data, their correction or deletion, restrict their processing, or object to processing. We will inform you if such a request affects the possibility of the continued functioning of this website. In certain cases, you also have the right to transfer your personal data to another controller. This depends on the technical capabilities and internal policies of the individual controller.

You may withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data for sending offers and information about updates at any time, whereby the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data based on that consent for the period prior to withdrawal.

Slow Motion does not assume responsibility for the authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness of the personal data you provide. The user is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all provided data.

In the event of a personal data protection breach, we will notify you under the conditions prescribed by applicable legislation.

Procedure for exercising rights

Your requests related to exercising rights regarding personal data may be submitted in writing to any contact listed at the beginning of this document under Controller Information and Contact Details.

For the purpose of reliable identification when exercising rights related to personal data, we may request additional data from you, and we may refuse action only if we can prove that we cannot reliably identify you.

We must respond to your request regarding the exercise of your personal data rights without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receiving your request.

Any change to our personal data protection policy will be published on this website.

Right to lodge a complaint

You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data with the supervisory authority in Croatia:
